Personality

A humble Poyo highly experienced in building gadgets and machines, Whiz Wiley is the Leader of the Journeys Exploration Team. He always seems to be calm and relaxed, even in danger, and provides as much as he can to those closest to him. After the Shiver Star Incident, Whiz went into hiding and started his own personal studies. Years of isolation have caused him to forget some social conventions, and as a result he has a hard time socializing in some cases. He always means well, though!

By the way, he’s actually not a reincarnation of the creator of the universe or something like Kirby is—he’s closer to Waddle Dees in heritage.

Abilities

Whiz has no special powers of his own or anything, but he makes up for it with a multitude of gadgets he himself built!

  • The pack he wears comes equipped with mechanical arms he can use to attack, maneuver, and even fly if he rotates them fast enough! The pack also has a first-aid kit inside, and it serves as Whiz's personal computer when on the move.
  • Whiz's gloves both have built-in displays at his palms to provide a wealth of data whenever he needs. They also function as custom trackers for Jet, allowing Whiz to track its location and view its camera. Lastly, if Whiz needs, he can overcharge his gloves to fire electricity, or project an energy shield!
  • Whiz's goggles are specially designed to help him scan opponents for information and reveal their weak points.
  • Combined, Whiz's goggles and bandana function as a gas mask when worn around his face, letting him breathe comfortably in toxic air.
  • Whiz additionally comes equipped with chemical balloons filled with minor toxic chemicals, to be used in emergencies only. They make a nice combo with the aforementioned gas mask!
  • And finally, Whiz has a natural aptitude for building new things. Give him the materials, and he could practically build anything you need him to! He could even invent something entirely new with enough time!
